15th Annual VES Awards (2017)- Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Commercial In this 2016 christmas advert for John Lewis, a father erects a trampoline as a christmas gift to his daughter during the night, which is soon discovered & enjoyed by several critters under the watchful eye of the family's boxer, who feels a bit left out... I was part of compositing team on this advert, performing some set extension work & compositing CG creatures throughout the entire ad, but mainly focusing on the climax. in which Buster takes a turn on the trampoline as well. The garden set was extended with digital matte paintings, and the CG creatures were composited together with a digital recreation of the trampoline in order to facilitate interaction. |
