Directed by Thomas Garber An entire village forcefully digs inside a mountain in order to recover a meteor which fell to Earth thousands of years ago, only to discover that it contained a car for all those years. I was personally in charge for the opening shot which shows the meteor's descent towards Earth as seen from space. The meteor and the additional fragments were procedually modelled & shaded, and the animation was mainly driven by particle simulations. Instead of using pre-existing space photography, a matte painting of Earth was specifically created in order to accommondate the director's vision. |
